Finding your fit
A press-on set only looks natural if each nail fits the nail it sits on. Getting this right takes two minutes and makes more difference than anything else.
How to size your nails
- Lay the full set out in front of you before you apply anything.
- Hold each nail against the matching finger. The right size covers the nail bed from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the skin on either side.
- If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one — you can file the sides down, but you cannot add width back.
- Set the ten nails you have chosen aside in order before you open the adhesive.
Most of our sets contain 24 or 30 nails, which gives a full size range plus spares.
Sets with XS / S / M / L options
A few of our handmade sets are sold in a single size rather than a full range. For these, measure the width of your thumb nail at its widest point and use it as your guide:
- XS — narrow nail beds
- S — small to average
- M — average
- L — wide nail beds

Choosing your shape
Almond
Tapers to a soft, rounded point. Lengthens the finger and suits most nail beds — our widest selection. Comfortable in short and medium lengths, more of a statement when long.
Coffin / Ballerina
Tapers along the sides and finishes with a flat, squared-off tip. A structured shape that gives nail art a broad, even surface. Short coffin stays practical; long ballerina reads as an occasion nail.
Square
Straight tip, parallel sides. The sharpest, most modern silhouette — and the shape that holds a French line best, because the tip is a true edge rather than a curve.
Oval / Squoval
Follows the natural curve of the nail and rounds off at the tip. The easiest shape to live with day to day: nothing to catch, nothing to snag.
Stiletto
Comes to a sharp point. The most dramatic shape we carry. Worth knowing that a pointed tip needs a little more care around fabric, skin and eyes.
Choosing your length
- Short / Natural — comfortable for typing, cooking and everything else you do with your hands. Our largest length group.
- Medium — long enough to look deliberate, short enough that you forget you are wearing them.
- Long — gives designs room to work. Gemstones, glitter gradients and painted artwork all read better at length.
If this is your first set, start short. It is the easiest length to get used to.
Before you order
- Check the “What’s included” list on the product page — many sets come with jelly glue and a nail file, but not all of them do.
- For hygiene reasons, opened sets cannot be returned unless they arrived damaged, so choose your shape and size carefully before opening.
